Discount retailer Sam's Club has purchased 18 acres at Shadow Creek Ranch. Plans call for a 136,000-sf store on the site. The building will be developed on an 18-acre site on the northeast corner of Kirby Drive and Shadow Creek Parkway. Construction is expected to begin this spring.

Opening is slated for October, according to TGB Crosswell, which sold the land.
